About the breeder
My passion for animals began in early childhood, inspired by my mother’s dedication to breeding Alaskan Malamutes. Growing up surrounded by puppies instilled in me a deep appreciation for the joy and companionship that dogs bring. Many of my formative years were spent nestled in puppy piles, fostering a lifelong connection to canine care.
As an adult, that connection was reignited when a Labrador Retriever entered my life and quickly captured my heart. Raising her first litter brought back all the cherished memories of my youth—countless evenings spent bonding with the puppies after work. It was during the next litter that Ebony came into my life. From the moment we met, our bond was undeniable.
Ebony is more than a pet—she’s my best friend. Intelligent, playful, water-loving, and always ready for a game of fetch, she’s also the devoted big sister to Remington. Through Ebony, I discovered that working with dogs isn’t just a passion—it’s my calling.
About the breed
Labrador Retrievers are renowned for their friendly and affectionate nature, consistently holding the title of the world’s most popular breed for over three decades. They make exceptional family companions, forming strong bonds with all household members and interacting harmoniously with other dogs and neighbors.
Despite their laid-back demeanor, Labradors are highly energetic and thrive on physical activity. Regular exercise—such as swimming and extended games of fetch—is essential to maintain their physical health and mental well-being.
At Rejessian Labs, we specialize in breeding black and yellow Labradors, with a focus on nurturing calm, well-balanced temperaments in adulthood. Our dogs are raised to be both loving companions and capable athletes, embodying the best qualities of the breed.
Rejessina Labs
The name Rejessina is more than a label—it’s a legacy. When my siblings and I were young, our aunt adopted a tree in British Columbia and, in a gesture of love and connection, combined our names to create “Rejessina.” It became a symbol of family, nature, and the bonds that hold us together. In honour of her and the connection she fostered among us, I chose to carry that name forward into my breeding program. Every dog raised under Rejessina Labs carries a piece of that story—rooted in care, nurtured with love, and grown with purpose.
